Product Overview
Mono Potassium Phosphate (MKP, KH₂PO₄, 0-52-34) is a premium fully water-soluble crystalline fertilizer providing the highest combined phosphorus and potassium content available in a single product. With zero nitrogen, zero chloride, and ultra-low salt index, MKP is the preferred P-K source for professional fertigation, foliar feeding, and hydroponic systems. Dongkwang Poland supplies technical and agricultural grade MKP meeting the stringent purity requirements of intensive horticultural production.
How Mono Potassium Phosphate (MKP) Works
MKP dissolves completely in water (230 g/L at 20°C), releasing K⁺ and H₂PO₄⁻ ions — both immediately plant-available. The acid pH of dissolved MKP (pH 4.5) helps lower alkaline irrigation water pH and prevents phosphorus fixation by calcium in calcareous soils. As the only common fertilizer with >50% P₂O₅ and >34% K₂O in soluble form, MKP delivers efficient P-K nutrition at very low application volumes.
Key Benefits
Application Guide
Fertigation: 1-3 kg per 1,000L irrigation water. For flowering/fruiting stages: 2-3 kg/1,000L applied 2-3 times per week. Foliar: 0.5-1% solution (5-10 g/L). For hardening-off and ripening: increase concentration to 3-5 kg/1,000L. For hydroponics: per nutrient solution recipe. Compatible with most fertigation chemicals except calcium-containing products in concentrated stock solutions.
Ideal For
Storage & Handling
Store in sealed bags in dry conditions. MKP is mildly hygroscopic — reseal opened bags. Shelf life: 36 months. Non-hazardous for transport and storage. Very low dust. Standard PPE for handling. Store away from concentrated alkaline materials.
