Product Overview
Multi-Strain Microbial Consortia is Dongkwang Poland’s most advanced biofertilizer product, combining ≥5 compatible microbial species in a single formulation for comprehensive biological nutrient management. The consortia includes nitrogen-fixers (Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense), phosphorus-solubilizers (Bacillus megaterium), potassium-mobilizers (Frateuria aurantia), and mycorrhizal fungi (Glomus intraradices) — each strain selected for non-antagonistic co-existence and synergistic performance. Field trials consistently demonstrate 10-20% yield improvement with 25-35% reduction in chemical fertilizer inputs.
How Multi-Strain Microbial Consortia Works
The consortium operates through complementary nutrient mobilization: Azotobacter and Azospirillum fix atmospheric N₂ (20-40 kg N/ha), Bacillus megaterium solubilizes locked phosphorus (15-25 kg P₂O₅/ha), Frateuria aurantia mobilizes K from minerals (10-20 kg K₂O/ha), and Glomus mycorrhizae extend root access to all nutrients and water. Synergistic effects amplify individual strain performance — for example, mycorrhizal hyphae transport bacterially solubilized P more efficiently than roots alone. The combined growth hormone production (IAA, gibberellins, cytokinins) from multiple PGPR species stimulates root and shoot development beyond what any single strain achieves.
Key Benefits
Application Guide
Seed treatment: 5-10g granular or 10 mL liquid per kg seed. Soil application: 5-10 kg/ha granular broadcast with incorporation, or 5-10 L/ha liquid through irrigation. Transplant dip: 100g per 10L water. Apply at or before planting for maximum colonization time. Reduce conventional fertilizer rates by 25-35% when using consortia. Reapply every 60-90 days for long-season crops. Compatible with compost and organic matter amendments.
Ideal For
Storage & Handling
Store in cool conditions (<25°C). Granular formulation: shelf life 12 months. Liquid formulation: shelf life 6 months, shake before use. Multi-strain products require careful storage to maintain all species viability. Check batch expiry date.
