Humic Acid Salts (potassium humate) are premium soil conditioning agents derived from high-grade leonardite — a naturally oxidised lignite rich in humic substances. Humic acids are large molecular weight organic compounds with numerous carboxyl (-COOH) and phenolic (-OH) functional groups that create negative charges on soil colloids. These charges bind positively charged nutrient cations (K⁺, Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Fe³⁺, Zn²⁺) in plant-available form, preventing leaching while maintaining accessibility. The result is a 15-30% improvement in fertilizer use efficiency — every kilogram of NPK you apply works harder. Store in dry conditions in original sealed bags. Humic acid salts are alkaline (pH 9-10) — avoid contact with strong acids. Non-hazardous for transport.
