Application Guide

Split application: 300 kg/ha at planting (incorporated around the stake/slip) and 200 kg/ha at canopy closure (3-4 months after planting for cassava, 6-8 weeks for sweet potato). For mechanized cassava: band apply 5-10cm beside the planted stake. For sweet potato ridges: apply in the ridge before slip planting. Avoid late-season nitrogen which promotes canopy regrowth at the expense of root bulking.
